They're so much better to run to the subway in than 5-inch Marni heels. So I slipped them on, checked the mirror, adjusted the snaps (that's right snaps not laces!) so that they went inside of the tongue of the sneaker instead of out. Then I grabbed my favorite, big silver jewelry to go with the silver details of the sneaks and then jetted out of the door.
The silver horse chain around my neck is a thick necklace that I bought in Seoul a few years ago. I really get my best stuff from the street markets there. The blazer is from Seoul as well, and is actually a men's blazer. My shoulders are large for Americans so you can just imagine how hard it is for me to find clothes in Korea. My Dad is pretty small, and I started to steal his cashmere v-neck sweaters when I was in high school. Then I started buying men's clothes. That style has stuck with me since, and it's served me well.
The cuff is a striking piece that I bought from Abby May, a New York Designer. She sells her beautiful designs at the Emerging Designer Market in Chelsea, and that's where I picked up this great piece.
The accessories with this outfit were a blast. Here are some closer looks.

Out of all of the designer sneakers I own, Nike have always been executed the best. I have a few Pumas and Adidas, but nothing beats my Nikes in their flair. At least not yet.
I mean. The company that created McFly's has got to continue to be amazing. They even look good in an abandoned gas station!

You are able to find brown wedge shoes in different styles and sizes in the market today. And there are specific categories of sneakers for different uses. For example, there are dance sneakers for dancers and sports sneakers for athletes..
