Mackage in the West Village, NYC

Silk Headband, Mackage Blazer, Henry and Belle Ankle Skinny in Onyx, Black Booties
Mackage - the only Canadian brand I've fallen in love with, outside of Lululemon. This jacket is why.  The line is predominantly outerwear that are normally priced $500+.  Their leather jackets are trimmed with magnificent fur details and shapes to add distinctive flair.

This linen blazer is from a Chelsea Market Sample sale, but it was still a pretty penny.  What I love the most about it, is the shoulder pads.  I feel like a powerful alien with them on.  But people tend to treat me more like a teddy bear when I wear it.  People like to rest their heads on the shoulder paddings when we're sitting.  I guess you can't fight how snuggly I am.

I accessorized this with my safety pin and bead necklace that I got from an emerging designer show a few years ago, skinny jeans and some black booties.

You can't go wrong with such a "powerful" looking blazer to keep it edgy and metal.  Rawr.
